Plumbing fixture manufacturer Delta Faucet announced its newest products for the kitchen and bath, including specialized filtered water and hot water dispensers.
In a virtual showcase earlier this month, Delta showed off its four new lines of plumbing fixtures: the Stryke kitchen collection, Galeon bathroom collection, instant hot faucets, and beverage faucets.
Delta says its products are “designed for real people and their real lives,” which emerged as the overarching theme with its 2021 product releases. “We hope Delta fixtures continue to create meaningful change in daily life,” said Kelsey Kinniry, the company’s associate brand manager.
The Stryke kitchen collection consists of a single-handle, pull-down kitchen faucet, single- handle, pull-down bar/prep faucet, single-handle beverage faucet, a wall-mount pot filler, and a single-handle instant hot water faucet. Complementary accessories include a glass rinser and soap dispenser.
There are three different Lumicoat finishes available for the Stryke collection: chrome, Arctic stainless, and champagne bronze with Delta’s proprietary Lumicoat technology that repels liquids, resists water spots, and allows for easy cleaning, the company says. Homeowners can simply wipe the faucet with a cloth, removing the need for cleaners or chemicals. (A matte black finish also is available, but not with the Lumicoat technology.)
Stryke faucets can be purchased with additional Touch20 and/or VoiceIQ technology, also unique to Delta. Touch20 technology creates an automatic faucet that needs just one brief tap to the spout to start the water flow, and VoiceIQ technology allows the homeowner to control the faucet with just their voice through an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant-enabled device.
The new bath collection, Galeon, features seven different bathroom faucets, three tub fillers, four bathroom accessories, two tub and shower faucets, and custom shower combinations. Galeon faucets and fillers are available in Lumicoat chrome and Brilliance stainless finishes, along with matte black. Galeon faucets also come with Delta’s patented Diamond Seal technology that uses real diamonds to reduce leak points and doubles the life of a faucet compared to the industry average.
Galeon showerheads and tub fillers offer an environmentally friendly H20kinetic PowerDrench spray that uses less water but the user cannot tell. Showerheads with this technology disperse three times the amount of coverage compared to a standard showerhead. Plus, it’s certified by the Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense program. Self-cleaning spray holes also prevent lime and mineral build-up, the company says.
Homeowners no longer need to wait for water to boil in a kettle or waste countertop space with an electric kettle because Delta now offers instant hot water dispensers. The new faucets come in three different styles to match existing kitchen collections and in the brand’s six finishes for cohesion, including matte black, chrome, Arctic stainless, champagne bronze, black stainless, polished nickel, and Venetian bronze.
New beverage faucets also come in all of Delta’s finishes and four different styles for easy coordination with a kitchen faucet. The beverage faucets disperse purified drinking water through a reverse osmosis system.
